Welcome to ASTD Network South Africa ASTD International (American Society for Training and Development) is the world’s largest association dedicated to Workplace Learning and Performance Improvement. ASTD was formed in 1944 and its members come from more than 100 countries connecting in the USA with 136 Chapters and 25 Global Networks, representing every sector of commerce, local authorities and industry. The head office is in Washington D.C. with more than 100 employees to serve all its members. ASTD’s mission is to create a world that works better through exceptional learning and performance.

ASTD South Africa is a partner of ASTD International, located in Featherbrooke Estate, Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa. In 2002 ASTD SA was officially invited by ASTD International to become one of the 25 Global Network partners.

We have over 300 members in South Africa who receive regular newsletters, the monthly Management Today publication and invitations to ongoing network events.
